Bob Wirsing has been at the helm of multiple high-profile retail client accounts for over 18 years. As a Principal of Chipman Design Architecture, Bob currently oversees the national program for Ulta Beauty, Fusion Academy, and TJX, taking a comprehensive approach to every project. No matter the size or complexity, he brings proactive, hands-on guidance in leading his team. His expertise extends to all facets of a project from initiating the real estate contracts to client-vendor distribution.

In addition to developing the strategy and infrastructure for national architectural expansion programs, Bob has been instrumental in creating CDAcademy, Chipman Design Architecture’s cutting edge in-house training program. Utilizing a pooled knowledge base of over 100 employees, Bob established this twelve-month program with the intention of creating procedural standards throughout the firm and helping team members reach their professional development goals.
Prior to joining Chipman Design, Bob was a key member of the Store Planning team at Kmart. At the corporate level, he prepared and managed building expansion, feasibility studies, preliminary construction estimates for in-house approval, and site development. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan. As a testament to his attention to sustainable design and applications, he earned LEED AP credentials, focusing on interior design and construction.
