RPM Italian

52 W Illinois St, Chicago, IL

The Ask

As the architecture firm behind the project, Chipman Design Architecture provided full Due Diligence services through Design Development and Construction Documents, while utilizing the City of Chicago Self-Certification process to expedite permitting for Chicago’s new RPM Italian.

The Task

Located in the trendy River North neighborhood, the voluminous 8,000-square foot space features a 100-seat lounge with an adjoining 120-seat dining area, juxtaposed behind elegant slices of lighted cream walls. Sleek, stylish and sophisticated are at the very core of the space’s design aesthetic. This latest entry into the Melman’s Lettuce Entertain You restaurant empire takes its starpower from the RPM monogram (Rancic, of television’s Giuliana & Bill, noted chef Doug Psaltis and the Melman restaurateur family).
