Hampton Inn & Suites Bridgeview Chicago

Having a prominent site is always exciting. This hotel is next door to Seat Geek Stadium and when the TV cameras pan out the building is in the shot! But, the most fun was working with our Interior Design team to develop the architecture and interiors at the same time.

The Ask

Situated next door to Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois, Chipman Design Architecture was hired to be the interior design and architecture firm for Hampton Inn & Suites.

The Task

CDA designed the lobby with interesting seating choices and options that prioritized flexibility and guest comfort. Pops of unexpected, local details were brought in for a unique experience that keeps the guest on their toes. A few FF&E pieces, like the community table, were chosen to speak to the local language of Toyota Park and Bridgeview.

Vibrant texture and modern, high-intensity colors were blended to refresh guestrooms. Bright pops of color create excitement and interest against more neutral floor and wall coverings. The casegoods were selected to be sleek and contemporary with dark wood finishes and accents of white and chrome. Bold graphics, artful vignettes and local inspired artwork allow for the property’s character to show while a custom, large-scale graphic on the headboard remains the focal point in the room.
