Fusion Academy

National Locations

One of the exciting parts of working with Fusion Education Group is utilizing our design and problem-solving skills to help expand their educational brands serving students in a non-traditional class setting across the country. As a bonus, it is always great to work with a company that shares your own company values.

The Ask

CDA was chosen to design the new prototype for Fusion schools, as well as manage the new prototype for implementing both into existing campuses and future locations across the country.

The Task

Understanding the ethos of the Fusion brand was imperative given the sensitive nature of an educational setting that fosters one to one student and teacher ratios.  While other private school settings are moving towards a minimalist aesthetic that draws inspiration from their cutting edge technology offerings, the goal for the Fusion prototype was an environment that is warm and inviting in a way that mimics the comforts of home.  Averaging approximately 10,000 SF per campus, programming included a variety of spaces such as the main lobby, social and silent homework cafes, art and science labs, music  and yoga studios, tech lab, private tutor rooms and supportive administrative offices and staff breakout space.
